LWLL Hosts – Jo Stevens & Kirsty Fields
We felt blessed to be at Toowoomba for our first regional event, with its picturesque parks and gardens, nationally acclaimed street art, impressive historic buildings, and warm country hospitality, Toowoomba provided the perfect setting for a Ladies Who Long Lunch event.
The overwhelming response to our event highlighted the demand among women in business in regional areas for networking opportunities beyond their usual circles. Our aim with LWLL is to unite women in business, entrepreneurs, professionals, aspiring leaders, and business owners in regional areas to cultivate new friendships and connections, all while emphasising the importance of taking time out for themselves.
In Toowoomba, we were pleased to welcome representatives from local chambers and other business associations, who found our event to be an invaluable platform for connecting with other women in business. Our ethos revolves around community building, fostering an atmosphere free from competition.
The success of our Ladies Who Long Lunch Toowoomba event validated our ability to attract solo entrepreneurs seeking connection, offering business groups a valuable opportunity to engage with these women in a relaxed, social setting. Encouraged by this success, we are thrilled to announce our expansion into other regional areas, with our next event scheduled for July 2024 in Roma.
