Meet Gayle Wetzel: A Woman of Action, Heart, and Community Spirit
At the intersection of business, leadership, and community service stands Gayle Wetzel —a woman whose impact is felt across many spheres. As the proud owner of The Studio Hair and Tanning, Gayle has spent the past 18 months creating more than just a space for style—she’s built a hub where clients feel seen, valued, and confident. And her entrepreneurial fire didn’t stop there. In late 2024, she expanded her horizons and launched her very own retail brand, channeling her creative energy into a new venture that’s as vibrant and inspiring as she is.
Gayle’s professional success is matched by her unwavering commitment to giving back. Inspired by her mother’s generous spirit, she has dedicated years of her life to community service. She held the role of President of her school’s P&C for seven years, championing better resources and support for students and families alike.
That passion for community building continued with the Redcliffe Tigers, where Gayle first took on the role of Treasurer before becoming President—a position she has proudly held for five terms. Under her leadership, the club has flourished, becoming a strong, connected, and inclusive environment for athletes and supporters alike.
Whether she’s leading a team, growing a business, or volunteering her time, Gayle Wetzel embodies what it means to lead with purpose and heart. Her story is a powerful reminder that when we pour into our communities, we all rise together.
