A Note from Kirsty Fields, Creative Director, Social Ocean
Sponsor – Fashions on the Field 2026

Fashion has always been one of my favourite parts of hosting Ladies Who Long Lunch.

There’s something incredibly special about watching women (and men!) step into a space feeling confident, expressive and completely themselves. Fashions on the Field is where personal style, creativity and courage come together — and I absolutely love it.

As Creative Director of Social Ocean, I’m naturally drawn to visual storytelling — the detail in a perfectly chosen accessory, the structure of a beautifully tailored piece, the drama of millinery, the confidence in the way someone carries themselves. Fashion is art in motion, and this competition celebrates exactly that.

I’m so excited to see the thought, intention and personality each entrant brings to the day. Whether it’s bold and fashion-forward, timeless and elegant, or playful and unexpected — I cannot wait to see how you interpret race day style for International Women’s Day 2026.

Fashions on the Field isn’t just about what you wear — it’s about how you wear it. The confidence. The creativity. The joy.

And I truly cannot wait to celebrate that with you.

— Kirsty
